The Rev. Jedd Trenum became Vicar at The Anglican Church of the Valley in June of 2025, having served on staff as Associate Rector at All Saints’ Church in Woodbridge, Va since 2021.
Born and raised in Warrenton, Va, Fr. Jedd attended The University of Valley Forge (Woodbridge campus) from 2007-2011 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries and a minor in Biblical Languages. He attended Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin from 2012-2015 and graduated with a Master of Divinity.
Fr. Jedd was ordained deacon in 2016 and ordained priest in 2017. He has a keen interest in church history and historical theology, moral theology, systematic theology, and pastoral theology. He has a deep love for teaching and walking alongside people as he points them to Jesus. He believes that “we are all in this together”, and that it is essential for pastors to follow the teaching and example of Jesus, who described himself and his ministry to his disciples as being among them as “one who serves.”
Fr. Jedd has been in active ministry for the past nine years, beginning in 2016 when he began teaching high school Bible, philosophy, and worldview courses at Christ Chapel Academy in Woodbridge, Va. In addition to his teaching responsibilities Fr. Jedd, along with his wife Emily, led multiple student driven short term mission trips to Albania. While serving as Associate Rector at All Saints’ Church in Woodbridge Fr. Jedd oversaw the youth program, the welcome ministry, and the annual confirmation and membership course.
Fr. Jedd married Emily in August 2014; and both worked together as teachers following their return to Virginia from Wisconsin. They have three daughters - Lily, Chloe, and Sophia. Fr. Jedd and Emily enjoy being outdoors, traveling, playing various sports, making new friends, reading good books, enjoying good food and drinks, and a good cigar for Fr. Jedd.
